Acorns & Memories

Heart full of indigo
harvests, this fatherless
child knows no gain.
Something breathes indignation
out there,
the past is what she cannot
resist.

Heart drained of
dreams, frozen
Icicles melted by
instances, belonging
to the nights her warm childhood
never ceased to be amazed by.
